| Handcrafted, featuring genuine beach glass from the shores of the Great Lakes. Beach glass or sea glass are gems sculpted by the wind, waves and sand into smooth, elegant unique forms. Colorful glass was used for various vessels of storage throughout history. Although most of these amazing treasures are from discarded bottles, some are from the depths of storied ship wrecks, perhaps as far back as the 1700's. With modern day society's diminished use of glass, beach glass is quickly becoming a valuable and rare commodity. My loving husband and I, along with family and friends prospect each and every piece. The glass is not altered in size, shape or finish, making each one-of-a-kind. |
Professionally framed and matted – A brushed silver, metal frame measuring 5” x 5” x 1” (unless otherwise noted), with a moonstone color matting (a blend of soft green, gray, white and silver) and artwork presented in shadowbox style.
