Since we are all as one, as children of God, energy beings or whatever your terminology or belief may be, is it not possible to bring more love, happiness and peace to our environments by shining the loving light of the Spirit within us?

One simple act of kindness has the potential to build into countless acts of kindness.  A smile, a warm greeting, saying please, thank you or your welcome, offering your place in line to someone who appears to have a sense of urgency, taking a few extra minutes to listen to a story or assist someone in need, reminding someone how special they are when they are not seeing it in themselves, say a silent prayer for someone whose spirits are low, and doing so with no expectation of getting something in return, not even a thank you. 

The positive energy or vibrations we send out through random acts of kindness is like the pebble dropped in the pond, one ring reaches out until it touches another and then sets the new ring free to do the same, and so on and so on.

Now imagine the strength of the love and gratitude we share with those we love and ourselves!  It's huge!! Showing compassion and reverence; being accepting of our individuality instead of judging; offering and accepting forgiveness; giving of our time; knowing when to comfort or encourage, simply listen, give a hug or space; saying I love you not only with words, but with all that you do; embracing the wonder of nature, all others and yourself. What an amazing power we hold within us to touch lives! 

What can YOU do to help?  Share three acts of kindness each day, one for you, one for another and one for our earth, and do so with gracious humility. One person, one step, can lead to enduring change. ......It is not I, but the Spirit within who does the work.

Some say, “Home is where the heart is.” Others say, “There’s no place like home.” However, those who have suffered at the hand of violence, are threatened, intimidated or humiliated do not find home to be that safe haven. Instead, it is a place of abuse, secrets and fear, where they are forced into a life of painful silence and lies.  Whether their bruises are physical or emotional is not relevant, as it is nonetheless real.

By joining "voices" there is a greater chance that those who are hurting will find place to go where they may nurture their self-esteem, heal their hearts and hopefully find peace.  Sharing compassion and empathy, while encouraging growth and new beginnings is the primary focuses of this campaign.  Together we can make enduring change in the lives of those in communities.

Faith the Butterfly is the first in the Spirit of the Butterfly Series™, newly released in April '06. The pendant version of Faith was added to the series in mid-June.  Freedom the Butterfly, the second design in the series, is newly released....July '07!!!!  Spirit the Butterfly, third in the series, is scheduled for release fall 2009.

Through the joint talents of two gifted artists and a talented jeweler, the butterflies were brought to life.  The angel within the first butterfly was truly a gift from above, as she simply appeared and was not drawn with intention.  The mysterious evolution of these butterflies is clearly a reflection of the strength that can be found through faith, friendship and loving support.
